Individuals with a minimum of two years of experience in distribution design are urged to apply to sit for the RCDD exam. To apply for your RCDD registration, you must:
• Have a minimum of two years’ distribution design experience including commercial, campus and multi-family buildings. (This experience may take many forms. The judgment of BICSI in reviewing applications is final.)
The following items must be completed and submitted to BICSI World Headquarters:
• The Communications Distribution Design Experience Checklist on pages 6-8.
• The RCDD Exam Application on pages 9-10.
• Three letters of reference with contact telephone number and e-mail address: one from your current employer (or if you are self-employed or a principal of your company, you must provide a letter explaining your personal involvement in the design of information transport systems); one from a client or customer for whom you have done design work; and one personal reference.
